Things Are Looking Up

First, I forgot to add pictures of Sarah and Roy visiting us on the day of Jordyn's birthday party. The kids loved it - you can't see Brennan smiling, but he was having fun play-fighting with Roy.

Second, school conferences were this week. I have always dreaded them, and this time was no different. However, they couldn't have gone much better. Mason has greatly improved since we made a schedule change for him in December. He has a one-to-one associate with him in the classroom in the morning, and then in the afternoon he works in the resource classroom. He has not had one little issue since the changes. Brennan has shown dramatic growth in his reading skills. In the past 3 months, he has jumped one full grade level! He is now getting very close to being where he needs to be. These were the two biggest issues for the kids, and we're now finally seeing some results!

Third, it's March. Weather is beginning to improve! I know we'll go back and forth for awhile, but I love the excitement that this weather change brings.

Fourth, I have a vacation booked for June! My friend Jodi and I are going to Key West together!!!

Fifth - Highlights! And new glasses are on their way next week!And finally, I'm getting out there in the dating world. Maybe I'm just sticking my toe out there, but at least that's something. No, really, I did meet someone, and while it's just at the very beginning stages of whatever it will be, I feel really good about taking this next step.
